Many groups of people, such as Poles, Russians, Gypsies, and homosexuals, were persecuted and killed by the Nazis because of Adolf Hitler's hatred for them and his attempt to create a "master race."

The lives of Jews, during the rise and fall of Adlof Hitler and Nazi Germany, are explored along with the progression of World War II and how it affected the lives and treatment of Jews.

Describes the atrocities committed against Jews, Gypsies, the handicapped, and other minorities in the German concentration camps, and the many trials which brought to justice some of those who were responsible.
